He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Laura Currah (Imran) of Topeka, Larry Headington of Calmar, Lisa Schueller (Chad) of Wilton and Linette "Linny" Johanningmeier (Rex) of Monona, Iowa; his grandchildren, Victoria, Caitlin, Sara Riley, Matthew Knutson, Caleb, Tyler Buchanan, Hailey, Connor Schueller, Ethan Harrington (Kari), Dustin Harrington (Karissa), Brandon and Brooke Headington; his great grandchildren, Lane Harrington, Kaydence Harrington, Jonah Larkin, Scarlett Buchanan and Alex Clausen; his brother Dale Headington (Sandy) of Decorah; and his siblings-in-law, Bonnie Headington, Elaine Headington, Carol Martin, Peggy Martin (Walter), Sharon Dishinger (Randy), Kermit Martin and Galerd Ehde. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
