She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Hammel and Leo Hammel. She is survived by: her husband Duane Snyder; her children, Kim Pettit (Steve), Brian (Jody), Steven (Dana) and David (Tron); her grandchildren, Lindsey (Derek), Leah (Jordan), Drew, Lily, Mya, Abby, Kinzie and Ryann; her great grandchild Quinn; her brothers, Richard (Barb) and Roger; and her sister-in-law Leona Rosendahl. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Washington Prairie Lutheran Church (1725 Washington Prairie Rd, Decorah, IA 52101).
