He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Martin Arneson and Nora Arneson (Grindeland); his daughter Linda Becker (Bruce) of Nashua, IA.; his granddaughters, Amy Streeter (Adam) of Ankeny, IA and Dana Frerichs (Dylan) of Greene, IA.; his great grandchildren, Rowen, Kentlee, Karsyn Streeter, Case and Boe Frerichs; his sisters-in-law, Bernice Arneson of Decorah and Margaret Arneson of Decorah; his wife Shirley Arneson (Albertson); and his siblings, Kathryn Kroshus (Jerome), Norman, Paul and Stanley Arneson.
He was out and about until Covid hit in 2020.
