Paul Arneson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Arneson (Decorah, Iowa), who passed away on April 16, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Arneson and Nora Arneson (Grindeland); his sister Kathryn; his brother-in-law Jerome Kroshus; his brothers, Norman Arneson and Stanley Arneson; his great grandchild Penny Betts; his siblings-in-law, Omer, Shirley Forde, Irene Gulrud and Norman Jacobson; and his niece Martha Graves.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice Berge; his children, Lois Martin (Larry) of Scottsdale, AZ, Nancy Jensen of Urbandale, IA, Diane Paradise (Michael) of Rochester, MN. and Thomas Arneson of Decorah, IA.; his grandchildren, Amanda Williams (Hallie) of Minneapolis, MN, Nora Wagner (Nick) of Phoenix, AZ, Abigail Betts (Tony) of Phoenix, AZ, Brian Jensen (Britta Larson), Aaron Jensen (Christina Perez), Kirsten Arneson of Denver, CO, Courtney Paradise of Byron, MN, Kaitlin Paradise of Rochester, MN, Karlee Paradise (Chris Solis) and Shawn Paradise of Rochester, MN.; his great grandchildren, Hallie Williams III, Neva Wagner, Charlotte Betts, Addelyn Betts and Kane Blommer; his brother Ralph; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Arneson of Decorah, IA, Margaret Arneson of Decorah, IA and Loucille Jacobson of Loveland, CO. He is also survived by his kids, grandkids and great grandkids.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Big Canoe Lutheran Church at 1381 Big Canoe Road in Decorah, IA 52101.
