She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Olaf Fretheim and Ruby Fretheim (Loney); her children, Donald, Jim Sims (Elaine) of Decorah, IA. and Kathy Ransom (Steve) of Decorah, IA.; her grandchildren, Phil Sims (Jean), Mike Sims (Kim), Corey Sims (Beth), Justin Ransom, Andrew Ransom (April) and Nicole Ransom; her husband Harold Sims; her siblings, Arlene Rasmussen (Ervin) and Herb Fretheim (Ruth); her parents-in-law, Norman and Isabell Sims; her sister-in-law Dolly Burdick (Bill); and her niece Carol Benzing.
