He is survived by: his wife Bev; his children, Mary Wendling (Jon) of Decorah, Linda Dotseth (Bill) of Decorah, Cheryl Lemke (Dwaine) of Decorah, Butch Tangen (Therese) of Weston, WI, Gordon Tangen (Linda) of Decorah, Marc Tangen (Dena) of Decorah and Lee Tangen (Tammy) of Decorah; his brother Carlton Tangen (Elaine) of Estherville, IA; his brother-in-law Gordon Anderson of Decorah; and his grandchildren, John Wendling (Jess Garwich), Jenny Goulson (Rolf), Jarad Dotseth (Caitlyn), Allison Dotseth (Seth Christian), Tamara Tangen, Troy Tangen, Cory Tangen, Jason Lemke (Laura), Jamie Zahasky (Al), Kari Tangen, Ryan Tangen (Stephanie), Mike Tangen (Jess), Lynsey Tangen, Bret Tangen (Ashley) and Tory Tangen. He is also survived by 31 great- grandchildren; 1 niece and 3 nephews.
