With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maxine Phillips (Decorah, Iowa), who passed away on March 10, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Oscar Tovson and Melvina Tovson (Ness); her husband William Phillips; her daughter Sharon Benson; her siblings, Delores Keune and Orrin Tovson; her grandchildren, Brian Phillips and Rhonda Jermeland; her children-in-law, Ronald Moen, Dennis Benson and Cathy Phillips; and her children, Lyle Phillips of Bluffton, IA, Linda M. Moen of Decorah, Vickie Larson (Charles) of Elgin, IA and Cathy Gervais (Brian) of Decorah. She was also cherished by 12 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 11 great great-grandchildren.
