Mary Lou Lensch Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2021, at the age of 94, Mary Lou Lensch of Decorah, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Moen and Ida Moen (Larson); and her stepmother Nora Moen. She is survived by: her son Steven; her husband Harry Lensch, Jr. of Decorah, IA.; her children, Steve Lensch (Kathy) of Bettendorf, IA, Tom Lensch (Deb) of Decorah, IA. and Janet Held (Gary) of Chaska, MN.; her grandchildren, Trisha Ebell (James), Rob Lensch (Karrie), Susan Lensch, Brian Lensch (Elly), Angela Lensch (Tony), Tim Held (Krissy), Dan Held (Mallory) and Eric Held (Rachael); her stepbrothers, David Lensch and John Lensch (Muriel); her sisters, Hulda Peterson (Albert), Gretchen Olson (Melvin) and Ivernal Queel (Craig); her siblings-in-law, Robert Lensch (Betty) and Ruth Lensch; and her stepmother-in-law Sadie Ward (Fay). She is also survived by three sisters, and camping trips with her friends.

They became her extended family, especially during this last year of Covid.

Mary Lou's faith was her strength and foundation.
