We bid farewell to Mark Mracek of Decorah, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 14, 2024 at the age of 57. Mark touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Mracek and Eleanor Mracek (Kriener) of Protivin, Iowa.; his grandparents, William, Rosie Mracek, Peter and Mary Kriener; and his brother-in-law Kirk Hove.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his children, Ashley Headington (Curt), Josh Carolan (Anna) and Jared Carolan; his grandchildren, Addyson Albertson, Aunicah Headington, Bowen and Beckett Carolan; his siblings, Gary Mracek (Dana), Kevin Mracek (Cheryl), Kenny Mracek, Mary Schoborg (Mark) and Ann Langlinais (Steve); his parents-in-law, John and Carol Hove; and his sister-in-law Shelly Hove (Marty). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family in memory of Mark.
