She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie Kessel (Thornton) and Andrew Kessel; her husband Roy V. Cox; and her siblings, Helen Kessel, Margaret Bjerke, Robert Kessel and Kenneth Kessel. She is also survived by nieces and a nephew.
