It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leroy Schlee (Decorah, Iowa), who passed away on August 22, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Amelia Schlee (Eberhardt); his great grandchild Samuel Ward; and his daughter-in-law Chris Schlee. He is survived by: his wife Violet Brady; his children, Sherry Jaeger, Susan Schlee, Lee Schlee, Wendy Kruger (Craig), Joey Schlee, Ellen Schlee, Robin Schlee, Scott Schlee and Daniel Schlee (Linda); his siblings, Evelyn Neel and Arthur Schlee (Barb); his siblings-in-law, Steve Brady (Donna) and Alberta Farquhar (Dick); his siblings, Walter Schlee (Augusta), Carrie Amling (Lloyd), Fred Schlee, Henry Schlee (Yvonne) and Edna White (Martin); his mother-in-law Jennie; and his siblings-in-law, Mildred Farmer, Bernice Bauer and Jim Neel. He is also survived by 79 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
