It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Rue of Decorah, Iowa, who passed away on November 29, 2024, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Karen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Karen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her children, Heather Rue of Charles City, IA, Kimberly Stovall (Austin) of Granbury, TX. and Nathan Rue (Makenzie) of Waco, TX.; her grandchildren, Gunnar, Tanner Summers, Jasmine, Harper Rue, Logan, Avery, Hayes and Reece Stovall; and her adoptive mother Sharon Anderson of Decorah, IA..
