He is survived by: his son Grand Champion Steer; his wife Kathleen; his children, Nolan and Ella; his parents, Charles Jacobsen and Dolores Jacobsen of West Union, IA; and his siblings, Kevin (Linda) of St. Charles, MO, Kendall of West Union, IA, Karen Schmitz (Victor) of West Union, Kirk (Dawn) of Clermont, IA, Kerry (Lisa) of Clermont, IA, Kyle of West Union, IA and Kory (Erin) of Ridgeway, IA.. He is also survived by 22 nieces and nephews, and ten great nieces and nephews.
