He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Edward and Leila Annie Headington (Enger); his spouse Edel Solum; and his grandsons, Dr. Brian Levernier and Joseph Headington.
He is survived by: his children, Ellen Levernier (Joe) of Nolensville, TN, Mary Nelson (Jerry) of Iowa City, IA, John Headington (Barb) and Kara Headington (Pat Hoppe) of Decorah; and his grandchildren, Daniel Levernier (Melonie) of Brentwood, TN, Zackariah Murray (Krysta) of Decorah, Mikaila Murray of Decorah, Philip Headington (Shawn) of Decorah and Curtis Headington (Ashley) of Decorah. He is also survived by thirteen great granddaughters, six great grandsons and one great great grandson.
