It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Goodin of Decorah, Iowa, born in Jeffersonville, Indiana, who passed away on October 7, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Goodin and Rosella Goodin (Messmer). He is survived by: his wife Karen Merck; his sister Sherri McHugh (Dan); his children, Ardys Palmer (Reed) of Carrboro, NC, Cene Ketcham (Adrienne Grove) of Washington, D. C., Braham Ketcham (Anna Timmerman) of Oak Park, IL and Maura Goodin of Minneapolis, MN; and his grandchildren, Sylvia, Ned Palmer, Cora and Elliot Ketcham.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a local environmental, conservation, or outdoor charity of the giver's choosing.
