We are sad to announce that on June 20, 2023, at the age of 94, Joanne Caroline Martinek of Decorah, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Mailey and Luella Mailey (Feltis); her uncle William; her aunt Ella Casey; her husband Arthur Louis Martinek; and her brothers, Roger and Gerald.
She is survived by: her cousin Bernice Feltis; her close friends, Mabel Hovden and Marian Elwood; her children, Wyman (Tami) of Madrid, IA, David (Rose) of Cresco, IA and Janet Staloch (Dave) of Rochester, MN; her grandchildren, Melissa Martinek of Bellbrook, OH and Mitchell Martinek of Louisville, CO.; and her cousin Karen Kumm (William) of Cannon Falls, MN. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for mother's favorite charities.
