With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Janina Nowok of Decorah, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Janina left this world on March 14, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Anna Tallier, William Tallier, Alina Tallier, Maya Swiers and Amanda Swiers; and her siblings, Halina Mirkiewicz-Fila and Heniek Kominek (Albertha Schmid).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Benedict Catholic Church (307 W Main St, Decorah, IA 52101). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
