It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Ripple of Decorah, Iowa, born in Maquoketa, Iowa, who passed away on October 4, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Arthur. He is survived by: his wife Donna Moorhead of Maquoketa; his children, Elizabeth Smith (Kevin) of Naples, FL, Peggy Thompson of Brookfield, WI, Sally Ripple (Tony Clarke) of Decorah, IA and Andrew Ripple (Debbie) of Atlanta, GA.; his grandchildren, James Thompson, Kayla Ripple, Daniel Thompson, Nolan Ripple and Emily Ripple; and his siblings, Florence Steenburgen of Missouri, Lois Ripple and Ronald Ripple.
