He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Alvin Herman Wilhelm; his brother Jerry (Elaine); his mother Jeanette Gipp; his sister-in-law Cyndi Gipp; his wife Pam; his grandchildren, Mary Weigert (Gene), Samantha, Fletcher, Cindy Dietz (Gregg), Zachary, Sean, Kyle, Sarah Cook (Jeremy), Madison, Ezekiel, Brody and Autumn; and his brothers, John Gipp (Karen) of Decorah, Gerald Gipp (Elaine) of Decorah, Charles Gipp (Ranae) of Decorah and Dean Gipp of Bettendorf, IA.. He was also cherished by three step-children.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Helof Holm VFW Post No. 1977 All Vets Club, 104 State Street, Decorah, IA 52101.
