She is survived by: her husband Dan Schmitt of West Union; her children, Lori Eastwood (Andy) of Decorah, Melissa Thompson of West Union and Craig Schmitt (Katrina) of West Union; her grandchildren, Rebecca Eastwood, Michael Eastwood, Chris Graham, Shane (Nicole), Havenstrite, Matt (Jasmine), Abby Schmitt and Aidan Schmitt; her siblings, Willard (Mary), Judy Bullerman (Norb) of Calmar, Dave Holthaus of Decorah, Connie Sande of Decorah and Maxine Klotzbach (Karl) of Decorah; and her siblings-in-law, Del Schmitt (Shirley) of West Union and Fran Hemesath (Fred) of Ossian.
