Helen McCormick Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Quandahl and Evelyn Quandahl (Young); her husband Jerry McCormick; her son Terry McCormick; her father-in-law Joe; her grandchildren, Heather Kimber and Jason Fleshner; her nephews, Roger Steffans and Kyle McCormick; her siblings-in-law, Dale McCormick, Gary Gates, Donald Steffans, Carol Quam and Joyce Gates; and her close friend Ron Bulmer.

She is survived by: her children, Jody McCormick (Chris) of Muscatine, IA, Jim McCormick, Cheryl Fleshner (Lloyd) of Ridgeway, IA and Debbie Patterson (Dean) of Cresco, IA; her grandchildren, Josalyn Haywood (Matt) of Decorah, IA, Chris Dahl (Vada) of Leroy, MN, Rachel Schuman (Jarod) of Decorah, IA, Kyle Dahl (Samantha) of Decorah, IA, Emily McCormick of Muscatine, IA, Travis Fleshner (Stacy) of LaPorte City, IA, Jeffrey Kimber (Cathy) of Spillville, IA, Lucas McCormick, Daniel McCormick and Skylar McCormick; her great grandchildren, Dominick Rouse, Sasha Rouse, Konnor Haywood of Decorah, IA, Azalya Dahl, Zayden Dahl, Delyza Dahl, Kennadi Schuman, Kelbi Schuman, Kooper Schuman, Madison Dahl, Cole Dahl, Kiah Kimber, Gavin, Tyson Fleshner, Hunter Fleshner, Alec Fleshner, Trinn Fleshner and Tinley Fleshner; her sister Wilma Steffans of Postville, IA; and her siblings-in-law, Don McCormick (Pat) of Decorah, IA, Carsten Quam of Decorah, IA, Ken McCormick (Mary) of Clear Lake, IA and Jule McCabe of Decorah, IA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

After selling the Lounge, Helen and Jerry moved to Arizona where Helen worked with Alzheimer's patients and worked at a Casino in Laughlin.
