He is survived by: his wife DeLoris; his children, Larry Thornton (Lorris) of Shakopee, MN and Denise Ziech (Leonard) of Merrill, WI; his son-in-law Oz Osterhoudt of Faribault, MN.; his grandchildren, Melissa Osterhoudt, Angie Osterhoudt, Amanda St (Jesse), Ashlee Whitehead (Sean), Raisa Brashi (Daniel), Adam Thornton (Lana), Lucas Thornton (Sam), Tanner Schultz, Rachel Davis (Tim), Kirsten Gannon (Danny), Emily Vetter, Sam Donlan and Seth Butler; his daughter Linda Osterhoudt; his brother Ronald Thornton (Marilyn); his parent-in-law Melvin Solem; his son-in-law Russ Shultz; and also, Clara Solem (Young), Don Leyse (Shirley) and Curt Solem (Gerri).
