He is survived by: his wife Ruby Hermeier of Decorah, IA; his sister Carol Stockdale of Tacoma, WA; his sister-in-law Helen Hermeier of Decorah, IA; his daughters, Paula Meyer (Kurt) of Edina, MN, Nancy Hershfield (Dale) of Chicago, IL and Kari Jensen (David) of Colgate, WI.; his grandchildren, Margaret Tyler (Matt) of Chicago, IL, Eleanor Smith (Andre) of Chicago, IL, Ethan Meyer of Bloomington, MN, Josef Olynyk (Julia) of Omaha, NE, Lukas Olynyk of Washington, D. C., Leah Switzer (Michael) of Woodbury, MN and Hanna Jensen of Ft; and his great grandchildren, Leo Robert, Dottie Rose Olynyk, Louisa June Tyler and Caroline Rose Switzer.
