He was predeceased by: his parents, Elias Myran and Agnes Myran (Sunde); his wife Ardelle Nauste; his brother Arnold; and his brother-in-law Donald Short.
He is survived by: his sister Mae Short (Donald); and his sister-in-law Barbara Myran (Arnold). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Helms Funeral Home (306 E Water St, Decorah, IA 52101). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Madison Lutheran Cemetery Association in memory of Francis.
