She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter Strand and Helen Strand (Bersie); her former husband Henry Clay Powell of Kansas City, Missouri.; her daughter Erika Powell of Oakland, CA.; her siblings, Karleen Maeck (Strand) of Burr Oak, IA, Heloise Strand, Adrian Strand, Johnathan Strand and Wyatt Strand; and her daughter Pleshette Powell.
