She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Norman Kolaas and Eleanor Thelma Falnes; her siblings, Kenneth Kolaas, Rita Groth, John Kolaas, Steve Courtney and Joseph Courtney; her parents-in-law, Ralph and Maggie Halse; and her siblings-in-law, Thomas Halse, Karl Hanson, Roger Halse, Ron Schroeder, Forest Myers, Keith Groth, Dorothy Halse, Grayce Halse and Margaret Myers.
She is survived by: her children, Ron (Kaki Pierson) of Mendham, Nancy Dietzenbach (Marvin) and Patty Ellingson (Kevin) of Decorah; her sibling Shirley Hanson of Decorah; her grandchildren, Dana Roske (Brent), Arren Ellingson (Gelareh) of Issaquah, Washington, Lucy Elaine Halse of Carmel Valley, California, Kate Halse (Kedar) of Cleveland Heights, Ohio and Henry Halse (Angela) of Las Cruces; her great grandchild Marina Roske; her children, Steve (Marilyn), Jim Courtney (Lynn), Janet Martinson (John), Lori Dahle-Melsaether (Jon), John and Eric (Tonia); and her sisters-in-law, Lois Schroeder and Christine Kolaas.
