She was predeceased by: her parents, Ella Nicholson (Rognlien) and William Nicholson; her son Neil; her husband Curt; her siblings-in-law, Gerald Nordheim, Mildred and Richard Dinger; her sister Muriel Wheatman (Mickey); her son Jim; her daughter-in-law Julie; her grandchild Laurel; her brother-in-law Kermit; and also, Lowell Isenberger and Roger Wheatman.
She is survived by: her sons, Randy (Patty) of Waukon and Mike of Decorah; her sister-in-law Marilyn Nordheim of Decorah; her nieces and nephews, Steve Nordheim, John Dinger, Jan Armstrong, Susan Peterson, Tracy Croatt and Karen Oiseth; her grandchildren, Amanda McGeough (Jay) of Waukon, Aaron of Monona, Amy Johnson (James) of Cedar Falls, Nicholas (Emily) of Williamsburg and Shelby Kamm (Chris) of Dubuque; and her great grandchildren, Kristen, Mason McGeough, Caleb Nordheim, Ella, Finley, Cooper Johnson, Kinley, Kellen Kamm, Nash, Knox, Nevin Nordheim, Lena, Theo, Jeremiah and Rosella Rausch of Waukon.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Helms Funeral Home (306 E Water St, Decorah, IA 52101). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. She missed seeing small children, especially during COVID restrictions.
