Earlen Arneson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earlen Arneson of Decorah, Iowa, who passed away on August 5, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Arneson and Grace Arneson (Goettelman); his wife Alberta "Bert"; his son Steve; his son-in-law Jeff Ellingson; his sisters, Edith Hoppenworth (Ray) and Lucille Hunemuller (Virgil); and his brother-in-law Herbert Finck.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sue Ellingson of Cedar Falls and Ginny Hanson (Denny) of Stewartville, MN; his daughter-in-law Linda Arneson of Spillville; his grandchildren, Brandon, Jon, Jenny, James Ellingson, Kelly Egan (Dave), Heather Roberts (Gareth), Megan Sherman (Munch), Laurie Howes (Cory), Kristy Cook (Bryan), Katy Howe (Eric) and Julie Hanson (Mussa Lungwa); his sister Evelyn Halse (Phil) of Decorah; and his sister-in-law Kathy Finck of Portage, WI.. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will not be having a public memorial at this time.
