He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Benda (Joe) and Margaret Benda (Kudrna); and his wife Mary Jo. He is survived by: his children, Kirk Benda (Jane) of Woodstock, IL, Kim Benda (Sarah) of Rochester, MN, Kallie Sheehan (Mike) of Wausau, WI and Kolice Koester (Cory); his grandchildren, Brandon Benda (Kristi), Brennae Wright (Torrence), Maggie Benda (Dan), Olivia, Emmy, Alexa, Ieden Sheehan and Adison Koester; and his great grandchildren, Brynleigh Benda, Keaston and Kaleigha Wright.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the most amazing people at WMC Hospice.
