Frana and Regina Frana (Shindelar); his wife Darlene Frana of Decorah, IA.; his children, Denise Shanks (George Kakos) of Decorah, IA, Daryl Frana (Sue) of Decorah, IA, Doreen Roney (Jeff) of Decorah, IA, Douglas Frana of Cresco, IA, Dean Frana (Maria) of Decorah, IA and Dawn Hawkins (Bob) of Caledonia, MN.; his son-in-law Bill Trisler of Tulsa, OK.; his siblings, David Frana (Marie) of Decorah, IA, Dale Frana (Gloria) of Decorah, IA, Virgil Frana (Janet) of Springfield, MO and Vivian Rongner of Spooner, WI.; his sisters-in-law, Kate Hovden of Decorah, IA, Karen Dehning of Marengo, IA, Luann Smith of Decorah, IA, Joyce Smith of Keosauqua, IA, Eileen Smith of Rochester, MN and Shirley Hageman (Lester); his daughter Donette Trisler; his grandson Robert Roney; his great great grandchild Mariana Guess; his son-in-law Duane Shanks; his siblings, Donald Frana, Dolores Lynch (Tom), Diana Frana, Jim Rongner and Francis Frana; his niece Karla Hanson; his nephew Terry Smith; his parents-in-law, Loren and Florence Smith (Mahoney); and his siblings-in-law, Norm Smith, Earl Smith, Don Smith, James Smith, Carmen Hovden, Harlan Dehning, Mary Frana (Vernon) and Rita Smith. He was also cherished by Twenty-two grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
