He was predeceased by: his parents, Odell Tweten and Marlys Tweten Schulte; his parents-in-law, Arlin and Janet Fisher; his siblings, Larry Tweten, Shirleen Tweten and Lynette Tweten; his nephew Michael Stortz; and his great-nephews, Nathan Borreson and Brady Stortz.

He is survived by: his wife Jolene (Fisher); his children, Jason, Tera Tweten (Willey), Shawn Tweten, Heather and Jonathan King; his grandchildren, Collin, Kaitlyn Tweten, Cole, Fisher, Jasera, Walker Tweten, Nevaeh Tweten and Niah King; and his siblings, Sharon Tweten Henry, Beverly (Gary Stortz), Wayne (Arletta Tweten), Darlene (Charles Dahl), David (Jean Tweten) and Randy (Marie Tweten). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
