She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Melvin Solem and Clara Solem (Young); her children, Larry Thornton (Lorris) of Shakopee, MN, Al Thornton (Tammy) of Decorah, IA, Denise Ziech (Leonard) of Merrill, WI, Lori Vetter of Grimes, IA and Jenny Butler of Decorah, IA.; her son-in-law Oz Osterhoudt of Faribault, MN.; her grandchildren, Melissa Osterhoudt, Angie Osterhoudt, Amanda Richardson (Jesse), Ashlee Whitehead (Sean), Raisa Brashi (Daniel), Adam Thornton (Lana), Luke Thornton (Sam), Taisha Douglas (Tanner), Tanner Schultz, Rachel Davis (Tim), Kirsten Gannon (Dan), Emily Rojas (Angel), Sam Donlan and Seth Butler; her husband Glen Thornton; her daughter Linda Osterhoudt; her son-in-law Russell Schultz; her siblings, Curtis Solem (Geraldine) and Shirley Leyse (Donald); her parents-in-law, Andrew and Pearl Thornton (Ruth); and her brother Ronald Thornton (Marilyn).
