It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Phillips of Decorah, Iowa, who passed away on April 22, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Erma Swatek (Phillips). He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Phillips (Jirak) of Decorah, IA.; his siblings, Roger Phillips (Marsha), Raymond Swatek (Patti), Jimmy Swatek (Pam), Danny Jo Swatek (Connie) and Cindy Swatek Blue (Jim); his siblings-in-law, Steven Jirak (Cheryl), Rita Hollenbeck and Leathia Siewert; and his brothers, Duane, Bobby, Larry Phillips and Dale Phillips. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
