He was predeceased by: his parents, Chris Hacker and Gurina Hacker (Truelsen) of Bradgate; his siblings, Eugene, Fred, Virgil, Richard, Donald, Helen Peebles and Marian Iverson; and his former wife Elizabeth Ann Hacker (Betty).
He is survived by: his wife Norma Anderson Hacker; his children, Karen Hacker Kinnett (Doug Kinnett) of Shepherdstown, WV, Mike Hacker of Rochester, MN and Jack (Corinne Whalen); his stepchildren, Eric Anderson of Duncombe, IA, Barbara Bacon of Green Bay, WI and Betsy Imhoff of Decorah, IA; his grandchildren, Dylan Kinnett, Jake, Alex Imhoff, Jeffrey, Jason, Matt Caquelin, Jenny Coonan and Virginia Bodus; and his great grandchildren, Memphis Imhoff, Kennedy, Madison Bodus, Sydney, Taryn, Brooke Caquelin, Akaela, Laynee and Teagan Caquelin.
