She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Olson and Agnes Olson (Holter); her former husband Alden Wennes; her son Lance Corporal Robert Wennes; her stepson Gary Strinmoen; and her siblings, LaDue, Quentin, Nansen Olson and Beverly Morken.
She is survived by: her husband Floyd Strinmoen; her daughters, Judy Towell (John Brown) of Marion, IA and Lynette Moden (Gary) of Des Moines; and her stepdaughter Greta Corpstein of Spring Grove, MN. She is also survived by five grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Highland Lutheran Church (3824 Highlandville Rd, Decorah, IA 52101). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
