He was predeceased by: his parents, Orrie Otteson and Helen Otteson (Overacker); and his sister Esther Houck (Wilbur). He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Gold; his children, Donna O'Neill (Frank) of Waukon, Edward Otteson of Pearl, MS and Jerry Otteson (Cathy); and his sister Mavis Mitchell (Darrell). He is also survived by Eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
