Arlene Houlihan Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arlene Houlihan (Decorah, Iowa), born in Galesville, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 30, 2018 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Arlene Houlihan to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Edward Houlihan; her parents, Royce Church and Thelma Church; and her sister Rose Harris. She is survived by: her children, Daniel Houlihan (Catherine), Lori Houlihan Higgins (Howard), David Houlihan (Donna) and Rob Houlihan (Michelle); her grandchildren, Sean, Bobby (Steph), Meghan Houlihan, Caitlin Higgins, Laci Higgins, Connor, Kerry, Aiden, Brody, Brock Houlihan, Morgan Houlihan and Brennen Houlihan; and her brothers, Jerome Church (Marcia) and Corneille Church.
After her training in cancer detection, Arlene opened the "Minowa Health and Cancer Detection Center." Arlene volunteered her nursing services and with the help of donations from the community, and the support of the local medical professionals, ran the center for many years.
