She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Smorstad and Gertie Smorstad (Hanson). She is survived by: her spouse Palmer Ruffridge; and her sons, Dennis (Patricia) of Cresco, Dean (Pamela) of Indio California and Paul (Michele) of Bradenton Florida. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
