She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Marking and Esther Marking; her siblings, Dagny Sollie, Arne Marking and Ralph Marking; and her nephew Chad Marking.
She is survived by: her husband Myrvin; her children, Kirsten (John), Berit (Aaron), Bjorn of Decorah, IA and Nisse of Des Moines, IA; her sister Ingrid Wynveen (Gary); her siblings-in-law, Norma Marking and Stan Sollie; and her grandchildren, Aleide Achenbach, Espen Achenbach, Torben Clark and Else Achenbach. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
An Alzheimer's patient, she suffered a fall in the aftermath of a tornado at their cabin on Half Moon Lake.
