He is survived by: his wife Kathy Lovekamp; his daughters, Kalli Miller (Kalen), Laurel Owens (Ryan) and Shelby Hickman (Jacob); his grandchildren, Kinzley Miller, Easton and Ellis Owens; his siblings, Jim Shields (Judy), Randy Shields (Anna May), Jack Shields (Diane), Richard Shields (Brenda), Rebecca Shields and Lisa Davis (Mark); and his sister-in-law Pat Shields.
