He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Stevens and Ruby Stevens (Swanson); his wife Pat Stevens; and his sisters, JoAnne Angstrom and Beth Ozbun.
He is survived by: his close friend Judy Sorenson of Dayton; his children, Colette Collen (Kevin) of Garner, Lee Stevens (Heather) of Cheyenne and Nathan Stevens (Sara) of Dayton, Iowa; his grandchildren, April Behrends (Wade), Mysti Kuhlman, Adam Collen (Brittany), Nicole Funk (William), Ty Stevens, Tucker Stevens and Trennis Stevens; and his brother Louis Stevens (Ivis) of Tucson, Arizona. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Stapp Funeral Home (406 3rd St NE, Dayton, IA 50530). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the United Methodist Church (107 3rd St NW, Dayton, IA 50530). A burial was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lawn Cemetery (221 E Ave, Boxholm, IA 50040).
