It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Micheal Lee Van Hoff (Dayton, Iowa), born in Boone, Iowa, who passed away on August 12, 2018, at the age of 28, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, LeRoy "Roy" Zollars, Carl Hoff, Mildred Van Hoff, Everett Derry and June Derry; his uncle Sonny Van Hoff; his aunt Joanie Nichols; and his cousin James Teed.
He is survived by: his stepfather Bob Derry; his parents, Dennis Van Hoff of Boone and Martha Derry; his daughters, Maggie and Scarlet; his brother LeRoy Van Hoff (Tommie Colms) of Boone; his children, Tori, Noah, Greg Derry and Jeff Derry (Natalie); his sister Sheri McCann (Randy) of Guthrie Center; his grandmother Helen Zollars of Jefferson; his wife Abigail Van Hoff; and also, Bob Derry of Menlo, Ferlin McCalister (Janette Hassler) and Jolene Pray (Kenneth Prosser).
