It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Hambleton of Dayton, Iowa, born in Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on August 19, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Hambleton and Vera Hambleton (Brunskill); his wife Doris Hambleton; his siblings, Galen, Maxine, Lloyd, Shirley, Bonnie, Betty and Marvin; his son Mark Hambleton; and his great grandchild Anastasia Hope Hambleton.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Jane Hambleton; his sons, Monte Hambleton (Kathy) of Fulshear, TX, Mitch Hambleton (Ruth) of Dallas Center, IA and Blake Hambleton (Melissa) of Richmond, TX; and his sister-in-law Beth Hambleton of Easley. He is also survived by six grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren.
