Donald Pirie Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Pirie of Dayton, Iowa, who passed away on September 2, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Donald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Donald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James LeRoy and Esther Pirie (Roxanne); his siblings, Betty Brundage, Bob and Herman Pirie; and his great grandchild Kadyn Pirie.
He is survived by: his significant other Maggie Kemmerer of Dayton; and his children, Jody Pirie (Rick) of Burnside, Kevin Pirie (Maurie) of Fort Dodge, Kerry Pirie of Victor and Jenny Rollins (Bruce) of Callender. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
