She was predeceased by: her husband Verne Eklund of Dayton; her parents, Vernie Johnson and Reuben Johnson; and her siblings, Marie (Jack Dettmann) and Laurel (Kathryn Johnson).
She is survived by: her children, Roxanne Eklund (Mike Betker) of Cave Creek, Dan Eklund (Linda) of Huxley, IA, Rhonda Eklund of Phoenix and Luanne Pender (Tom) of Naperville, IL.; her great grandchildren, Rachael Crawford (Zachary Bradshaw) of Brooklyn, NY, Ross Crawford (Jessica Flagg) of Richmond, VA and Ryan Eklund (Katie); her children, Lucy, Brynn of Westfield, IN and Alex Eklund (Anna); her granddaughters, Emma and Olivia of Slater, IA; and her children, Molly Voelker (Trevor) of New Virginia, IA, Lucas Gibson of Chicago, IL, Stuart Pender of Brooklyn, NY and Grant Pender of Brooklyn, NY.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
