He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Herbert (Swede) and Lois Lucille Swanson (Berglund); his daughter Jenny Louise Swanson; and his brother-in-law Walter Sturtz. He is survived by: his wife Pam Sturtz; his children, Jody King (Randy) and Nolan Swanson (Terri); his grandchildren, Kallista McIntyre (Dakota) and Koreen King; his sisters, Linda Sturtz Pickup and Marsha Headley (Mike); and his brother-in-law Pat Sturtz (Mary). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Stratford Lutheran Church or to the family to use at their discretion.
