He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lawrence Hawley and Opal Dean McClaran; his siblings, Benny McClaran (Arlene), Wayne McClaran and Paula; and his pet Toolbench "Oreo" Hawley.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie (Van Duzer) of Davis City; his children, Christy Ganoe (Curt) of Stuart and Rick Hawley (Diane) of Stuart; his grandsons, Nick Ginkens (Paige) of Stuart, Wesley Ganoe of Stuart, Dustin Hawley and Cole Hawley of Des Moines; his great grandchild Bodi Ginkens; his sister Cathy McClaran of Perry; and his sister-in-law Sandy McClaran of Redfield.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stables Event Center (2001 E 2nd St, Lamoni, IA 50140). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
