Though Zelda Ruth may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter DeJong and Adrianna DeJong; her former husband Fred Darland; and her son Freddy Darland. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Leibold; and her children, Terry Darland, Joel Darland (Marianne) and Christy Darland. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Runge Mortuary (838 E Kimberly Rd, Davenport, IA 52807). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
