He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sweeney and Ethel Sweeney (Walker). He is survived by: his children, Brad Sweeney (Katherine) and Beth Sievers (John); his grandchildren, Annemarie, Eleanor, Hannah, Tierney, Abigail, Harper and Isaac; his children, Debra Maakestad, Kevin Sweeney (Karen) and Scott Sweeney (Phoebe); his siblings, Dorothy Schloemer (Paul), Robert Sweeney (Linda), Mary Lou Smith (Jim) and Jack Sweeney (Betty); and also David Sweeney. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
