William left this world on January 12, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Connolly and Bernadette Connolly; his wife Judy; his daughter Shelly; his granddaughter Brooke; and his siblings, Aggie, Mary, Janice and Gary.

He is survived by: his children, Michael Connolly (Sara), Lisa Sabatka and Jeff Connolly; and his siblings, Maggie and Sylvester. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Runge Mortuary Chapel (838 E Kimberly Rd, Davenport, IA 52807). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
